the end of the world - husky

im waking up, its raining
not a single person in sight.
it looks almost silver outside,
but i know its definately silent,
it has to be silver and silent like just after dooms day.
but im not okay,im not fine either.
so its silver and silent, its silver and cold.
i walk out and theres nothing in the streets,
just the shattered remains of old memories
and some old cars rusted brown.
i look to my left and its all completely flat and dead,
so i look to my right and all i can see the worthless memories i used to have.
why wasnt i taken with them just like the gods wanted,
im the only survivor , theres nothing left just the remains of the earth.
the stars have all exploded.....,the moon blown up by an alien race.
i found a single piece of glass, all thats left of what used to be my heart.
a single cut i can make, nothing left in my bloodstream will mean the end,
now the human race has ended. no electricity computers or guns,
nothing on this planet except a single tree.
so lets see how far we came.
