Mikala ran through the trees flying at speeds faster than any human. She panted and looked back. They were still chasing her. She belonged to a Village called "intaria Village" for all of her 16 years of life. Now her villagers, her friends had betrayed her and tried to put her in a cage. Well they were sadly mistaken if they thought she would go willingly. She pushed herself faster still and lost them, going only at 1/4 of her speed. She couldnt beleive what they had done. They tried to treat her like some kind of dog, just because the new village cheif had said she was too dangerous to have out in the open. She ran for a while longer then stopped to take a rest in the forest. How could her friends turn on her like this? How could they sneer at her just because of her deep red eyes and her long white hair? Sureshe had demonic powers, but she had only used them to help out the villagers, and now they treat her like a criminal? She didnt even do anything wrong that might have made the village cheif scared. He just decided to lock her away. Well she wouldnt have it. She would be free. She looked around. She had no where to go, but at least she wasnt in a cage. She smiled to herself as she walked along the trees. She wuite liked it out here by herself. She could use her powers freely without getting a glance form a neighbor or passerby. As long as no one botherd her, this would be a great place to stay. In the forest. But she had better go deeper, she felt too close to the old village. She ran for an hour or more and came to the darkest part in the woods. The middle. She would make her home here. She just had to ake a house and things and she would be fine. The only problem was she couldnt make a house out of just tree bark, and she certaintly couldnt get any food that way. She ponderd this as she walked. A little while later she looked up to see an old abandoned cabin. She smiled. She would live here. She walked inside to see that she would definatly need some cleaning things. So she must get some cleaning things and food. Then she guessed it was time to practice one of her powers. Changing her apearence. She concentraited hard to change her beautiful white hair black, but it just got a little darker staying pretty much the same. She tried again and again, but her hair just wouldnt change. Start small. She told herself. Instede of the complete opposite, try darkening it just a little. So she concentraited on turning her hair silver. It worked. She looked at her new silver hair in a cracked and dusty mirror on the wall. She smiled to herself, but just as she did it changed back. Okay so there is a time limit. She thought. I can deal with time limits. I just have to push it each time to extend the time it takes to change back. She thought to herself. So she did. Each time she felt her hair was about to change back, she kept it a little longer then changed it back herself. She practiced for so long her hair finaly got to three hours. She hopped that was all she'd need. She practiced her hair a little longer before she could finaly change her hair to dark brown, and keep it that way for three hours. Then she moved on to her eyes. She concentrated on changing them to pink. It worked the first time. She smiled to herself with her dark brown hair and pink eyes. She looked very odd, but better than her real appearence. She darkened her eyes from that to a baby blue, and from that dark blue. That was good. Then she practiced keeping her appearance that way for three hours. When she finaly got it to stay that way she was so exauhsted she feel asleep right there on the cabin floor where she was sitting.
